We are delighted to formally launch the new Aysgarth & District Parish Council website, now fully GOV.UK compliant and aligned with current transparency and accessibility requirements.
The move to a GOV.UK domain ensures that residents can be confident they are accessing official, secure and up-to-date information from their parish council. The new platform has been designed to provide clearer navigation, improved accessibility standards and a more structured approach to publishing key documents and statutory information.
The website includes dedicated sections for:
-
Council Meetings – with agendas, approved minutes and supporting documents
-
Finance & Transparency – including budgets, annual accounts, AGAR documentation
-
Policies & Governance – standing orders, financial regulations, code of conduct and key council policies
-
Councillors & Contact Information – including the council’s new GOV.UK email addresses
-
News & Community Updates – keeping residents informed of local matters
We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to our previous website host and administrators for their support over the years and for maintaining the council’s online presence during a period of significant change. Their work provided an important foundation which has enabled this transition.
As with any new platform, the site will continue to evolve. We welcome constructive feedback from residents as we refine and develop it further in the interests of transparency, accessibility and good governance.
We hope you find the new website clear, informative and easy to navigate.
