Information about the council
The chairman of the parish council is Cllr John Dinsdale (Thornton Rust), with Cllr Robert Walker (Aysgarth) as deputy-chairman.
Appointed to committees:
Upper Dales Area Partnership (UDAP) – Cllr Windle
Yorkshire Local Council Association (YLCA) – Cllr Dinsdale
Cemetery – Cllr Cooper & Cllr Wood
Upper Dales Health Watch (UDHW) – Cllr Dinsdale
Aysgath Cemetery Joint Management Committee is comprised of representatives of the three parish councils which own the cemetery: Aysgarth and District; Burton cum Walden, and Carperby cum Thoresby.
